Financial Counseling
Clear Point http://www.cccsstl.org/ These people will give a free analysis, either over the phone or in person, of a person's situation. They provide each person with an "action plan" for getting on solid financial ground. They are above board and reliable. We use them for those whose situation is "iffy". It gives us an objective starting point to evaluate our level of involvement and to get people on a budget. Their local office is on Hampton at West Park (just south of HWY 40). info from Joe Komadina, St. James

Catholic Family Services (CFS) has been strengthening the family unit through counseling and other programs for over 50 years. It is our job to reach out to individuals, children, and families who are experienceing stress from a number of factors, including marital conflicts, abuse, loss, difficulties in parent/child relationships, and tensions among family members. Through counseling, family education, and other innovative programs, families become better prepared to live and participate as a community.
Beyond these counseling services, we sponsor a Marriage Clinic, a Fatherhood project, and counseling and staff development for Archdiocesan area Catholic schools.
